Dana Lyn's album A Point on a Slow Curve tells the incredible creation story of Jay DeFeo's painting The Rose. Lyn's compositional voice draws from her experience in theater, film, and contemporary, improvisatory and folk music. Scored for choir and mixed ensemble, the piece's first eight movements mirror the eight years that DeFeo worked on The Rose, followed by a coda entitled "The Removal."back to top
